Clinic Update - August 2020
If you have been into the clinic lately you will have seen us wearing our protective face masks! All of our Physiotherapists are now currently required to mask up for consultations as we cannot maintain physical distancing during your appointment. While local risk in the Highlands is only moderate, it is currently optional for you to wear a mask in your session.
Please help us to reduce the environmental impact of disposable masks by bringing your own mask to your appointment with you if you wish to wear one. We are throwing so many into landfill every week which we would like to minimise where possible!
If you forget yours and want to wear one, we will still have them available, so please ask our reception team upon arrival.
We are monitoring the advice from NSW Health and the Department of Health as well as local risk factors daily to keep you and our staff safe. If local risk factors should change, we may need to make masks mandatory for patients again.
In addition to wearing masks we are still undertaking extra measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff including, stringent health screening, temperature checks, physical distancing where we can, and fastidious cleaning of the clinic and consultation rooms. Patients who are considered high risk because of their age or medical conditions who need to continue Physio treatment are encouraged to utilise video consultations via our Telehealth platform where possible.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call our clinic on (02) 4861 1223.
