Emily Hagarty / Physiotherapy Assistant

Emily has been a member of our team for a number of years now, managing our front desk and administration team. Her passion for sport and interest in working in the health industry lead Emily to pursue her studies and she is now a qualified Allied Health Assistant.

Emily has now undertaken a Physiotherapy Assistant role at our Bowral Clinic, where she can provide assistance with:

  • Acute fracture management - including casting and splinting application and removals

  • Serial casting- in paediatric clientele

  • implementing hydrotherapy treatment programs

  • Implementing individual exercise and pilates rehabilitation programs

  • Off-site therapy program implementation. - at childcare, school or home.

  • Case manager liaising

Emily’s clinical interest area includes neuro-developmental paediatric conditions where she is able to assist and implement therapy based programs for children to enhance their physical and functional skills and development. She is able to provide this both in clinic at our Bowral Clinic, or off site at childcare, Schools or Home environments.

Emily is a great communicator and planner, which allows her to create strong bonds with her patients and families, and assist in liaising with support workers, claim managers and other allied health professionals within the multidisciplinary care team.
